Website traffic to Apple.com, the official home of the iPhone, has risen remarkably thanks to consumers wanting the lowdown on the iPhone.
Figures from Hitwise, a company that has access to the ISP logs of millions of users, show that traffic is up 34% year on year.

Interestingly the demographics of visitors to the iPhone pages on the Apple site indicate that those in the 18-24 and 25-34 year old age groups are the most likely to be looking for the iPhone and that they account for 52 percent of visitors to the website. Those visiting the iPhone section of Apple.com are younger than overall visitors to the Apple.com domain.
