Despite initial reports indicating that Charles Dunstone might have pulled of the deal of the year it appears that the Carphone Warehouse will not be selling the iPhone exclusively in its stores.
Speaking at an investor event Dunstone admitted that “Apple is likely to strike a partnership with a mobile network operator, making it unlikely that the store will be a sole distributor.”
This statement indicates that Vodafone is still a front runner, as we reported recently.

Too bad… I was really hoping to get on iPhone outside of mobile network operator.
Did you guys see that a Nokia flagship store is coming to London though in early 2008?
