No, the title wasn’t a typo, a Chinese mobile phone company has produced the Doubao 777 Window XP phone with an operating system apparently copied from Microsoft.

The 2 megapixel “smartphone” is 17mm thick and has stereo speakers and a 3 inch touchscreen.

From the screenshots it appears the UI is a direct rip off from Windows XP, right down to the on/off buttons.

The phone is on sale in Taiwan now, presumably it won’t be on sale for too much longer once Microsoft’s lawyers hear about it.
