China Mobile, the worlds largest mobile network, has been adding subscribers at a rate of almost 5 million users a month this year.
The network hit the 300 million subscriber mark in January this year and added 4.86 million subscribers in January and 4.91 million in February, a new record.
In contrast to the European market 4.58 million of its new customers in February were prepaid subscribers and only 328,000 were contract customers.
