The phrase “iPhone killer” is used all too often at the moment but in this case it seems to be justified. The deeda Pi phone has one of the best interfaces I have ever seen on a mobile phone, iPhone included.
The demonstration video of this handset is very, very slick and the social networking features seem pretty cool as well.
Apparently deeda has patents pending since 2005. Also the Open source development platform means you can legally customise it as much as you like.

Wow! looks looks like they copied most of the ideas from the iPhone. Shame they made such a hash of it ;o) Only they created such a cluttered display! Don’t think Apple has much to worry about…
