FIFA could be responsible for the most popular ringtone ever with the release of a five-note melody called “Bamboo.”
The simple tune will be used in special FIFA promotions and has been licensed for use by partners such as Adidas, Coca-Cola and Budweiser over the next few months. Cumulative audience figures are expected to reach as many as 30 billion by the end of the World Cup in just over a months time.
