iPhone for Dummies book on Amazon

by Patrick Altoft on April 5, 2007

iPhone for DummiesAmazon is stocking a great book for all you iPhone fans from the popular “Dummies” series.

iPhone for Dummies tells you everything you need to know about using the iPhone from getting started to advanced tips.

Clearly they haven’t started writing the book yet as the iPhone isn’t out until June but the publishers are confident it will be written by September.

At the moment iPhone for Dummies can be pre-ordered for $14.95 with a standard retail price of $21.99. Is the iPhone really going to be so complicated that you need to buy a book to use it?

What the book covers: Getting started with your iPhone, setting up iTunes and your iPhone, getting organized with your iPhone, browsing the Internet with your iPhone, sending and receiving E-mail with your iPhone, buying music and videos from the iTunes store, taking great pictures with your iPhone, organizing and managing your photos, syncing up with your desktop, protecting your information, troubleshooting, and more.

Series features: Information presented in the straightforward but fun language that has defined the Dummies series for fifteen years.

I love the idea behind it and as someone who uses a lot of the stuff in Komplete, being able to easily categorize sounds would be a huge benefit.

Is the iPhone really going to be so complicated that you need to buy a book to use it? If you are a dummy, yeah, probably.
