A research analyst at Gartner, clearly given the difficult task of finding something negative to write about the iPhone, has proclaimed that it is hard to use while driving.
Ken Dulaney commented that since the iPhone had “a touchscreen and no buttons” it would be “difficult for users to dial while driving”.
Maybe he could do with our patented steering wheel mounted iPhone holder.

In other news it seems that AT&T will be pushing the iPhone as a corporate business device, something that has not been well received by the people who use such devices.
AT&T are also hoping to create something the mobile phone industry is currently lacking – loyalty. It seems that people are not loyal to networks but AT&T believe they might become loyal to a device. This has certainly been the case with the iPod – users are upgrading to the latest model every few years but it might not be so easily transferred to the mobile phone industry.

I don’t really see that as a problem, because you shouldn’t be handling your mobile while driving anyway.I take it the iPhone will have voice controlled numbers or Speed dials and the use of bluetooth headsets.
Dude, you’re not supposed to be dialing when youre driving! that’s just stupid.
Not a problem. A benefit.
In the UK all use of the mobile phone whilst driving is banned so therefore if it makes it harder for anyone to use the phone whilst driving – whether intentional or not – saving lives is more important.
For the record, for those users who still use their mobile phones whilst driving – please remember you “could” kill someone for the lack of concentration on the road when u r fiddling about on your phone / iphone.
