A Cingular customer in Redmond was given a strange receipt last week when he traded in his Sprint Blackberry for a Cingular Blackberry Pearl. The receipt seemed to indicate that if he signed up to a 2 year contract he would save $150 on the price of an iPhone.
Derek Punsalan is asking for people to help him discover what the receipt means but it clearly states “iPhone for DEREK PUNSALAN”. To his credit he didn’t try to claim that he purchased an iPhone.
