Japan tops 100 million mobile phone users

<a href=Samsung F700″ title=”Samsung F700″ align=”right”>Reports today confirm that the number of mobile phone subscriptions in Japan has topped 100 million for the first time.

At the end of January the figure stood at 100.22 million, the highest ever recorded.

The population of Japan is only slightly higher at 127 million, meaning 78% of people have a mobile phone.
