Design

At your first glance the LG Decoy would seem like one of the showiest phones you ever came across. In fact its entire front surface completely gleams through the reflective mirror finish. When measured, the phone it is 0.67 inches thick, 1.97 inches wide and 4.01 inches high and it is rather not a compact cell phone but it has perfectly maintained the size for its impressive 2.2 inch display. You can easily adjust the facade size including the backlight time but not the contrast and brightness. Below the display is the navigation array that includes a center joystick, two soft keys, a clear key and a dedicated speakerphone key.

Features

Apart from it’s in built Bluetooth headset the LG Decoy includes a number of other features that support the device. The LG Decoy includes a spacious 1,000 entry contracts list with space in each to enter five numbers, notes and two email addresses. The cell phone also lets you save callers to a specific group or pair them with a photo as the caller ID or with alert sounds or any of the 23 polyphonic ringtones. Other features include a speakerphone, a vibrate mode, calculator, multimedia and text messaging, calendar, stopwatch, alarm clock, world clock and a notepad. Most of the advanced users would surely appreciate its voice commands, web email, a mobile web browser, instant messaging and its capability to be used as a USB device. Another impressive feature is the VZ Navigator support that offers accurate directions.

The LG Decoy includes a EV-DO support which lets it access to the full array of V cast broadband services of Verizon like the V cast music and the V cast streaming video store. The interface and player controls are very similar to the V cast phones. You can either download songs from the store or can also upload your own songs but should make sure that they are in MP3, WMA and unprotected AAC formats.

Performance

The LG Decoy also features an excellent performance as your callers would hear you clear and loud. The sound quality of the in built Bluetooth headset is also very good but you might find it difficult to hear in a crowded or noisy environment.
