LG Electronics have just announced their sales targets and strategy for the European mobile phone market in 2007.
Products they are planning include the world’s first WCDMA-based DVB-H phone, the LG-KU950, as well as the thin 3G LG-KU250 handset.
As we reported some time ago the LG-KU250 has been chosen for GSM Association’s “3G for All” campaign.
Jae Bae, LG spokesman, had the following statement:
Our Black Label series was the first line under the company’s global platform strategy that helped set our products apart from our competitors. With its touch keypad, the Chocolate Phone has created a new trend in design and its sales will exceed ten million units early this year.
Our Shine Phone, the second handset in our Black Label series, and PRADA Phone by LG, an artistic masterpiece made in cooperation with premium fashion house PRADA, will continue to lead mobile trends with their style and features. This will help LG reinforce its position as a leading mobile brand in the global market as well as the European market.
With stylish phones such as the LG Prada, LG Shine and the LG Chocolate Platinum we can see LG easily achieving its target of 14 million units in Europe this year.
