Motorola has confirmed today that it has sold over 50 million of its iconic flip phone, the RAZR V3.
Since its launch two years ago the RAZR has set new standards for mobile phones and has evolved into a couple of later Motorola models.
Interestingly Motorola sold more than 75 million units when it first invented the flip phone way back in 1997. The Motorola StarTac was the first of its kind and remains one of the biggest selling phones ever.
