Sony Ericsson has released a new Walkman phone that combines the best of features of a high end camera phone with a music player phone.
The W610 has stunning good looks derived from the earlier Walkman phones and stores up to 500 tracks on the 512MB Memory Stick Micro included in the package. An innovative TrackID feature lets you record a sound clip and immediately receive notification of the track name and album thanks to the built in music recognition service.
Sony Ericsson have designed the W610 as a hybrid to sit between the Walkman and Cybershot ranges and the 2 megapixel camera with integrated auto focus will result in some high quality pictures.
Operation of the camera is similar to the Sony Ericsson K800i with a horizontal camera menu, just like a conventional camera. A picture blogging facility allows easy uploading of your photos to a blog directly from the camera menu.
Another great feature on the music side is the RDS FM Radio which shows track and station details on the screen as you listen.
With two great colour options - Plush Orange or Satin Black - and availability from March 2007 this Sony Ericsson W610 is set to be another top seller.
