A Business Week article reports today that Nokia are leading the world in smartphone sales with a market share of 48 percent last year.
As the price of some smartphones dropped below $200 during 2006 sales rose by some 42 percent with Nokia shipping 38 million devices.
RIM had the second largest market share with just 7.5 percent. Motorola, manufacturers of the Q, saw sales increase by 104 percent to take third place.
