Nokia has officially released the latest additions to its N Series range of high end mobile phones. The new products will further reinforce the Nokia N Series as one of the leaders in mobile multimedia. All the new devices include video and high-quality photo capture capabilities as well as excellent audio performance and high speed Internet connections.
The Nokia N Series is an example of the growing market for converged devices – products that look like a mobile phone but perform the same tasks as a PC or TV did a few years ago. Nokia expects that this market will grow from 100 million units in 2006 to 25 million units in 2008. It is estimated that Nokia controls 50% of this market currently with sales ofr over 5 million Nseries mobile computers.
The new products will see the continued cooperation with Adobe & Carl Zeiss as well as a new venture with Flickr, a Yahoo! company.
