Nokia has announced an amazing new phone with probably the most advanced features available on any mobile phone to date.
The Nokia N95 is another multimedia computer and offers integrate GPS functionality with street level mapping covering over 100 countries. The maps contain local places of interest and amenities such as restaurants and services and are upgradeable to include city guides and voice driven navigation.

A 2-way sliding action makes it easy to switch between reading maps and watching a video with a simple slide. The keypad slides out of one side and dedicated multimedia keys from the other side. A 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and a video camera with TV output are included as well as powerful 3D graphics and an intuitive and revolutionary user interface.
From the Nokia press release:

This single device – which fits easily in your pocket – can replace stand-alone devices that you no longer need, whether it’s your music player, your digital camera, PDA or navigation device. Most importantly, the Nokia N95 is with you and connected when you want to use it.
The Nokia N95 is based on the world’s leading S60 software on Symbian OS, enabling you to personalize your device from a wide choice of compatible applications that can be downloaded to the Nokia N95, including games, navigation, entertainment, productivity and creativity. The Nokia N95 comes out of the box ready to create, connect, consume and interact with some of the internet’s most popular services. Use Yahoo! We expect the Nokia N95 to be available from early 2007 and cost around 300 GBP.
