O2 announce reduced contract prices

by Patrick Altoft on July 7, 2006

Mobile phone network O2 is to reduce its contract rates to compete with rival networks who are already offering cheaper prices.

O2 currently offers a £30 per month plan with 200 anytime minutes, this figure is set to increase to 400 anytime minutes from July 13th. For £35 customers can get a one month rollover of minutes and texts.

A contract with Orange would include 50 minutes and 25 texts less than this and T Mobile offers a similar contract.
