Phone booths for cell phones become a reality

by Patrick Altoft on August 29, 2006

We first reported about this back in June and now it appears the mobile phone boxes are about to become a reality.

Using your cell phone in a noisy and busy area can make your important conversation very unprofessional and frustrating for both parties. On the other hand making a call in a very quiet place makes you look inconsiderate and often rude.

Salemi Industries have come up with The Cell Zone which is basically a modern phone box without the phone.

Features

  • Easy access ramp
  • Superb construction
  • Contemporary styling
  • Patent-pending sound-resistant technology
  • Adjustable casters for easy relocation

Benefits

  • Provides consumers with a convenient, quiet place to place & receive cell phone calls
  • Stops cell phone users from disturbing others in your establishment
  • Discourages patron’s from leaving an establishment to make or receive calls
  • Advertising space available for ROI

Will it ever catch on? Visit www.salemiindustries.com for more details

It might catch on in place like nightclubs and libraries where the owners can make the boxes look like part of the design.

Can’t see them turning up on every street corner though.
