If you are looking for a slider phone you need look no further than the excellent Samsung D900. Slide open the stylish anthracite sliding casing to reveal the ergonomic keypad and you realise the phone is a quality model. Although the standard anthracite colour is the most popular the D900 is also available in a very attractive deep red colour on selected contracts.

The handset weighs just 85 grams and is one of the slimmest on the market at 12.9mm thick. Despite its small size the D900 includes a 240 x 320 pixel screen and 60 Mb of internal memory expandable via a MicroSD memory card.

Amazingly for such a small phone the D900 includes a class leading 3.15 megapixel camera which takes high quality still and video images. The auto focus feature works very well and ensures you can never take a blurry photo. A powerful built in flash make night time photography nice and simple and a photo editing package can touch up any photos that the flash and auto focus have failed to fix. A TV output allows you to display your photos and home videos on a large screen.

As well as the camera the Samsung D900 has a very advanced music player with simple and intuitive controls and a direct connection to download more music from the internet. Supporting MP3 and AAC formats and including 3D stereo speakers the phone can easily replace a dedicated MP3 player. The speakers also double as a useful handsfree kit.

For such a small phone the D900 is remarkably well equipped as a business device with the ability to view Excel, Word, Powerpoint and PDF files and an EDGE internet connection for fast email and internet access. USB and Bluetooth connections allow for easy PC synchronisation and quad band networking means that phone can be used in most countries.
