Mobile phone manufacturer Samsung has today released a handset which seamlessly switches between traditional mobile phone networks and a wireless LAN connection.

The Wi Fi Samsung SGH-P200 supports voice and data calls and will be useful for making calls over Wi Fi at home or in a wireless hotspot as well as making standard mobile phone calls in other locations.

Launched in Italy it will be rolled out across Europe over the coming months. Prices are to be confirmed but we have been told that the device will include a 1.3 mega pixel camera and MP3 player. Its quite small as well at only 95 grams and 95 x 44 x 22.5 mm.
