Samsung have announced plans to install a number of mobile phone charging points at JFL airport in New York.
Each charging station will have 4 outlets and Samsung are hoping to have 50 stations up and running by the end of the month.
As more an more people start wanting to use mobile phones while they are away from charging points these sorts of services will become more widespread. Of course if mobile phone manufacturers used a standard charger specification it would be a lot easier for airports themselves to add charging points at a relatively low cost.
