At just 12.5mm thin the stainless steel Sony Ericsson T650 is the latest in a series of stunning handsets to be released by Sony Ericsson during 2007.
Packing high level features such as 3.2 megapixel camera, autofocus, 3G internet connection is no easy feat and Sony Ericsson are doing so well that certain other manufacturers don’t stand a chance.
Interesting illumination effects on the keypad and the sides of the phone interact with animations on the screen. According to the press release as the animations move across the display they set off waves of light around the keypad, which stand-out against the reflective stainless steel finish.
One interesting feature on the T650 is the mineral glass screen which apparently makes the colours look great and stand out as well as being scratch resistant and extremely durable. According to Sony Ericsson the “mineral glass display is placed directly onto the screen, which makes the colours more intense, improves visibility in bright environments and widens the viewing angle of the screen up to 170 degrees.”
Expect the candybar T650 to be available later in 2007 free on a contract.
