With the iPhone forecast to hit the UK in January its probably going to be pretty cold for anybody desperate enough to want to queue up for an iPhone. Several people in New York were already queuing 100 hours early as analysts were announcing that the iPhone has hit Palm sales hard before it is even launched.

I don\\\’t think Palm will lose that much in sales, corporate users are not going to get an iPhone

Only Apple could sell old technology at a premium, and there loyal followers will always buy it. But too many better phones out there, so this will not be a walk over as it was when they brought out the ipod, when it had no compertition. Mac fan boys/girls will buy it and believe they can heal all those they touch with it, but to the normal public, its way too dear and price in 2 years contract and you could buy so much more than just a phone
